Twenty-four new species of lizards discovered on Caribbean islands are close to extinction
A research team led by Penn State biology professor and Huck Institutes faculty member Blair Hedges has identified and named 24 new species of skinks " half of which may already be extinct or nearing extinction, and the rest of which are threatened with extinction.
