Dr. Suzanne Fleishman received a PhD Ecology in 2022 from Penn State and was co-advised by Dr. Michela Centinari (Plant Science) and Davis Eissenstat (Ecosystem Science and Management). Her graduate research focused on a grapevine-groundcover agroecosystem and spanned diverse topics including soil-resource competition, whole-plant physiology, and root multiomic analyses. Currently, she is a SciNet Postdoctoral Fellow at the USDA Genomics and Bioinformatics Research Unit where she develops bioinformatic tools for pathogen detection and tracking.
