A Brief Bio-sketch Renukaradhya J. Gourapura (Aradhya), DVM, MS, PhD Associate Professor since 2008, Food Animal Health Research Program, OARDC, Veterinary Preventive Medicine, The Ohio State University, 1680 Madison Avenue, Wooster, OH 44691 Research Interests: 1. Development and evaluation of biodegradable nanoparticle based intranasal vaccines to porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus and influenza in pigs. 2. Evaluation of a panel of adjuvants to use with viral vaccines delivered by intranasal route. 3. Studies to demonstrate the role of diverse species of gut microbiota in infants in modulating the immune system prone for allergic diseases using the germfree pig model.
