Preliminary Data – October 4, 2020

The data below was generated through a two-stage effort. First, we enrolled adult residents of Centre County in the online Centre Together Survey to assess the social, economic and health impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on their lives.

Next, a subset of survey participants enrolled in the ongoing D4A study. They continued with online surveys and also provided biological samples that were tested for antibodies.

Next Steps

Additional data is now being collected from a separate cohort of Penn State students to assess the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on their lives. Like the data listed above, this research includes online surveys and biological sample collection. Once available, their data will be shared here. The combined data from both cohorts will enable researchers to assess the spillover of SARS-CoV-2 virus from the transient Penn State student population to permanent residents of Centre County.
